What Christmas Looks Like For A Cancer Family

Somewhere in Massachusetts right now a child is in a hospital bed fighting cancer. Their parents are stretched to the breaking point — emotionally, physically and financially. The holidays are coming and the weight of it all is almost unbearable.

First Christmas: Fighting For Families exists for that family. Every year Elevating ETE's Mission Corp identifies families of children battling pediatric cancer, collects every family member's wish list, goes shopping and delivers Christmas directly to their door. Gifts. Love. Community. The reminder that they are not alone.

This is our third year. And this year we are going bigger — targeting 5 to 25 families, serving up to 150 individuals, depending entirely on the generosity of people like you. Your donation determines how many families we reach.

Here Is How First Christmas Works

    We Find The Families

    We partner with pediatric oncology social workers and hospital networks to identify cancer families in need this holiday season. Every family is vetted with care and dignity.

    We Collect The Wish Lists

    Every family member gets a voice. Parents, siblings and the child fighting cancer — everyone gets asked what they want for Christmas.

    We Go Shopping

    Our team hits the stores and gets every single item on every single list. The whole journey is documented and shared with our community.

    We Show Up

    On delivery day we arrive with arms full of gifts and hearts full of love. The moment the door opens is why we do this.

    Every delivery is captured on video and shared across our platforms. These families deserve to be celebrated and these moments deserve to be witnessed.

Two Years. Real Impact.

2024 — Our First Year

8 families served. Gifts delivered to homes across South Shore Massachusetts. A tradition was born.

2025 — Growing The Mission

30 families served, including three locations of Communities For People serving adoptive children. Entertainment systems, Xbox, flat screen TVs and holiday joy delivered across multiple sites.

2026 — Cancer Families

This year we are dedicating First Christmas entirely to families of children battling pediatric cancer. Help us reach 20 to 25 families by December.
